The Brotherhood Operations Fund is an incredibly important AC fund that many of our members know very little about. The money it disburses:

  • Supports the work of our Elder Body and ministers in leading our church and caring for our members.
  • Encourages emotional health and relational connections among the brotherhood at both the national level and local level.
  • Enables the creation and dissemination of important Apostolic Christian resources, including easy access to sermons, podcasts, and hymns.
  • Facilitates consistency among our church pulpits and Sunday Schools through the teaching of sound doctrine and biblical understanding.

Here is a more detailed explanation of what the Brotherhood Operations Fund covers:

Onward Media, which encompasses:

ACCFS’s work done on behalf of the national church and also assisting individual elders, such as:

  • Mental health triages for individuals seeking initial counsel and guidance.
  • Consultation and support for elders and ministers.
  • Assistance to AC churches in finding counseling in their locales, creation of podcasts and videocasts, and webinars for ministers.

Elders Teaching Resource (ETR), an Elder Body initiative, which prayerfully:

  • Supports our ministers in their biblical learning of our core doctrines and practices and knowledge of our history.
  • Creates spaces where ministers come together to help each other fulfill their responsibilities – Scripture study and teaching, counseling others, and personal growth.
  • Provides vital research for elders as they study, make decisions, and counsel our church.

Elder Body operational costs:

  • Elder committee and Forum costs
  • Assistance for other elder needs
  • Elder Body technology expenses and many other miscellaneous costs

There are many ways to support the work of the Apostolic Christian Church of America. Financial donations are just one part. The church cannot function without your regular prayers and involvement. As an interconnected body of believers, we need one another and we depend upon our connection to the True Vine, Jesus Christ.
