Purpose and Applicability

Thank you for using AC Central. As the provider of the system, Onward Media is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its users. For that reason, we’ve created this Privacy Policy (sometimes simply referred to as the “Policy”) to inform users of the policies and procedures which govern AC Central’s (sometimes “the App” or “the Website”) collection, use, and disclosure of users’ personal information, as well as your rights regarding that information.

Onward Media is wholly controlled by the Apostolic Christian Church of America. The AC Central system is designed to connect with members of the church. Descriptions of how Onward Media and/or AC Central collect, use, or store user information necessarily also apply to the Apostolic Christian Church of America, which will automatically have access to and control over collected data. All rights conferred upon Onward Media in this Policy are also conferred upon the Apostolic Christian Church of America.

The Policy is not applicable to any other app or site that you might be able to access from AC Central, each of which could have data collection and use policies, practices, and procedures that differ significantly from this Policy. Please read this Policy in its entirety before using the App or Website or submitting any personal information.

By using AC Central, you accept the practices described in this Policy. These practices may be changed from time to time at AC Central’s sole discretion.

Information Collection Practices

Federal law and the laws of several states seek to protect the personal information of consumers when such information is obtained by data collectors online. Generally, personal information is any data about a person that is readily identifiable to them as a specific individual.

In our operation of the app and website, Onward Media collects the following information from users who choose to register an account:

·      First and last name

·      Email address

·      Name of user’s home church

Once an account has been created, users will have the option to provide the following additional information:

·      Birth month and year

·      Gender

·      Role in their church

Use of Personal Information will be limited to the purpose of the operation of AC Central, which is specifically to provide spiritually enriching content to members and attendees of the Apostolic Christian Church of America. Users are permitted to use the app without a registered account, but they will be limited to having access only to sermon and program audio / video content.

Opt-Out or Change User Information

Users may opt out of receiving communications from us at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of AC Central emails. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable.

If you wish to change any information provided to AC Central through the following steps:

1.    Click on “Settings”

2.    Click on “Account”

3.    Change information as desired

4.    Click “Save” 

Cookie/Tracking Technology

The Website may use cookie and tracking technology to keep you logged in for access to your personalized content, and to analyze traffic. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer or device. The App version of AC Central uses similar tracking technology for the same purposes. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering non-identifying website usage data, such as browser type and operating system, and tracking the number of hits and visits to our Website and App. Cookies also help us understand how visitors use the App and can help customize the App-system for visitors. Our cookies and tracking technology do not generate personal data and do not read personal data from your computer or device.

Distribution of Information

No Personal Information collected by the website or app will be shared except under very limited circumstances, including the following:

1. When users use their AC Central account to log into other apps and websites owned by the Apostolic Church of America, information associated with the AC Central account will be shared with that app or website.
2. When Onward Media is permitted or required by law or law enforcement to share personally identifiable information of its users, it may do so.
3. When Onward Media is attempting to protect itself and/or its users against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions, it may share some or all of a user’s personally identifiable information. .
4. When Onward Media is investigating fraud which has already taken place, it may share some or all of a user’s personally identifiable information.

Users’ information is not sold or otherwise provided to third parties for marketing purposes.

Commitment to Data Security

Onward Media is committed to the safety and protection of its online users and their Personal Information. AC Central uses commercially acceptable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect Personal Information to the best of its ability. These measures include procedures that limit access to users’ Personal Information to employees and volunteers of Onward Media and the Apostolic Christian Church of America who need to know such information to operate the App and Website. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with AC Central is no longer secure, please immediately notify us in accordance with the “Privacy Contact Information” section below.

Be advised that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we always strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If AC Central experiences a security breach in which users’ Personal Information has been compromised, we will inform you as soon as possible after we discover the breach, at no charge to you.

Children's Privacy

AC Central does not seek to collect or store the Personal Information of any person under 13 years of age. AC Central routinely checks its registry list for accounts showing a birth month and year indicating a user under 13 years of age, and promptly deletes these accounts. If a parent or legal guardian learns that their child has given Personal Information to AC Central without their consent or approval, they may email webmaster@apostolicchristian.org request that their child's account and personal information is deleted, and we will do so as soon as possible.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

AC Central may, at any time, add, change, update, or modify this Policy. These changes become effective immediately upon posting on the Website or App. It is the user's responsibility to review this Policy from time to time to ensure that the user continues to agree with the Policy's terms. We will also update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy.

Users are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
